The WALK for KIDS SAKE is a scavenger hunt style walk with schools from Lacombe, Bentley, Blackfalds, and Alix area! Every student in each of these schools will participate as a class and complete ten stations with team work and problem solving! Teachers will upload pictures, answer questions and complete tasks, gaining points for all that are completed!
Register today to get your own pledge page and start your fundraising! Prizes for the top three fundraisers in each school and a grand prize for the overall highest fundraiser.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lacombe and District supports hundreds of mentoring relationships a year. Youth who experience these developmental relationships see positive outcomes in educational engagement, positive mental health, social and emotional competence, and employment readiness. The dollars raised in WALK for KIDS SAKE will go directly back into the community through mentoring relationships.
