2026 Summer Day Camp

Kids N Kops

July 6-9, 2026

Age 8-11

Registration opens May 11 at 10:00am
Youth are required to be between the ages of 8-11 on the first day of camp to register.

Our police mentoring camp for Lacombe, Lacombe County and Blackfalds residents offers the most VIP police experience possible. This Summer Day Camp is in partnership with Lacombe Police, Blackfalds Municipal Enforcement, and the Blackfalds RCMP where campers get an all-access pass to forensic science and crime-solving, learn team building, experience police scenarios, go on a field trip and much more! Campers receive a t-shirt, snacks, and lunches each day. This is an opportunity to get behind the scenes experiences with local police officers.

Daily itineraries are divided between Blackfalds and Lacombe. This camp cannot have repeat campers due to limited space.

A huge thank you to EnVision Manufacturing for their generous sponsorship of the 2026 Kids N Kops Summer Day Camp!

Please note that there is no registration fee for camp. However, because this is a highly demanded camp and we carry a waitlist each year, it is very important that all registered participants attend all four days of camp. Before completing registration, please ensure your child is able to attend all four days of the program.

For this reason, an $85.00 deposit will be required at the time of registration. This deposit will be fully refunded once your child has attended all four days of camp. Please note that deposits will not be refunded for missed camp days, including if a participant misses one or more days of camp.

Camp Highlights

  • Real police skills training
  • Hands-on forensic experiments
  • Fun team-building challenges
  • Outdoor games and sports
